Sound and Vision Major, B.A.


The Sound and Vision degree provides students with the theoretical and practical experience required to design, write, edit, and produce visual media for use in the music business and ancillary industries.  Students apply knowledge and skills learned to produce a variety of music-oriented video programs.  In addition, students learn how to create and manage content for social media sites that highlight, promote and publicize commercial musical artists and other activities related to the music industry.

Sound and Vision Electives


Students must take nine (9) elective credits (three 3-credit hours courses) to complete their major.  The recommended electives below have been selected to expand the breadth of knowledge and skills for Sound and Vision students and will provide the necessary amount of credits to meet graduation requirements.  Students should consult with an advisor prior to selecting electives.
