Nursing Major for BRNCO B.S.

The BRNCO is available to RNs with an associate degree or diploma in nursing. The program is offered in class, online and in hybrid class formats.

Thirty semester hours of lower-division nursing credit will be awarded for prior nursing education for qualifying students.

It is recommended that no more than six credits of general education courses remain prior to beginning the nursing major. At least 40 credits of upper-division courses are required for graduation. Consult with nursing academic advisor for additional requirements.

1 Courses have prerequisites which must be satisfied.
2 ANT 3480 satisfies the Multicultural Graduation Requirement and is a Level II General Studies - Social Sciences course.
3 MTH 1210 satisfies the Level I General Studies - Mathematics requirement.
4 Certain Psychology and Sociology courses may count towards the Level II General Studies - Social Sciences requirement.
5 These courses, along with ANT 3480, count as General Studies courses.
6 These requirements may be satisfied by courses selected in the Required Support Courses category.
