Completion Requirements for Degrees and Certificates

Students are responsible for full knowledge of the provisions and regulations pertaining to their academic program and degree contained in this catalog and elsewhere. Students have final responsibility for completing the requirements for a degree or certificate and are urged to seek advising. Students should never assume that they have approval to deviate from a stated requirement without a properly signed statement to that effect. Please also refer to the Academic Policies and Procedures in this catalog.
Completion requirements, sometimes called graduation requirements, are the university-wide rules and standards students must meet to earn a degree or certificate. In addition to these minimum university requirements, students must also satisfy all requirements specific to their declared academic program(s) (e.g., majors and minors).
