Master of Professional Accountancy

The Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) degree develops in-depth competence of accounting skills and practices within a student’s chosen concentration: taxation, fraud and forensic audit, or accounting. It emphasizes the development of written and oral communication skills, teamwork, critical thinking skills, and provides a sound understanding of the legal and regulatory environments.  The goal of this program is to prepare students for professional leadership positions. 

 

Master of Arts in Teaching

The programs prepare students for successful careers in education through high quality and accessible education.  Programs include high demand licensure areas, such as special education, linguistically diverse education, math, science, and reading.  Program areas emphasize issues of particular concern to urban areas.  The MAT with concentrations in elementary and special education will focus on understanding diverse student populations and planning and differentiating to meet diverse student background and learning needs.
