WMS 4750 - Feminist Theory and Practices II: Senior Seminar

Prerequisite: WMS 1001, WMS 2010, WMS 3510, satisfaction of all Level I and Level II General Studies course requirements, and Senior standing; or Permission of instructor

Designed primarily for women’s studies minors and Individualized Degree Program majors as the culmination of work in women’s studies, this seminar will continue the exploration and evaluation of contemporary feminist theories, particularly non-Western frameworks, as well as focus on interdisciplinary bibliography and research methodology. Students will apply the knowledge gained in the introductory research methods class to a senior research paper and presentation. Papers will reflect each student’s particular course of study and focus within the broader context of women’s studies and feminist theory.(Senior Experience)
