CS 2400 - Computer Organization and Assembly Language
Credits: 4 (4 + 0)
Prerequisite(s): CS 1050, EET 2310 and MTH 1110 (or equivalent) with grades of “C” or better, or permission of instructor
Description: This course is a study of the internal organization of computers. Machine level representation of data, digital logic, central processor and memory organization, instruction-level architecture, secondary memory organization, interfacing and communication, and multiprocessing organization are covered. The vehicle for exploration of the computer hardware is assembly language programming.
