SLHS 4510 - Language Disorders

Prerequisite(s): SLHS 2890 with a grade of “C” or better

Description: This course examines language disorders and the neurological, cognitive, environmental and sociocultural actors that contribute to them. Students are introduced to assessment and intervention strategies designed to enhance language/communication development, with particular emphasis on child language disorders and their effects.

Note: Field based observations will be required.
