SLHS 4610 - Aural Rehabilitation

Prerequisite(s): SLHS 2890 and SLHS 3600 with a grade of “C” or better

Description: This course considers the responsibilities of interventionists for children and adults with hearing loss. Students learn about room acoustics, amplification, cochlear implants, counseling, and speech and language therapy, as well as individual variables that impact intervention outcomes.
