JRN 3110 - Public Affairs Reporting

Prerequisite(s): JRN 2100
Description: This course emphasizes the watchdog role of journalism and the role journalists play in civic discourse. In addition, this course allows students to further skills in news gathering, interviewing, writing, and covering a beat. Students spend time perfecting their skills in a writing laboratory. Students cover events out of class and off campus.
