ECE 4340 - Elementary Mathematics Methods: K-3

Description: In this course, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of effective mathematics instruction in grades K-3. This course will build on student understanding of mathematics content to include research-based teaching practices appropriate for addressing the needs of young children in elementary school. It includes analysis of state and national mathematics standards in order to align instruction that supports and promotes children’s understanding.
