ENV 4400 - Landscape Ecology

Prerequisite: ENV 1200, GIS 2250, and ENV 4430; or permission of instructor

Students will examine the effects of spatial pattern and scale on ecological processes. Concepts, tools, and techniques that enhance the effectiveness of watershed and ecosystem management, design of green isnfrastructure, and smart gworth are explored. Students wil learn how the concepts of landscape ecology apply to environmental policy, management, regulation, and assessment.
