HSP 3510 - Development and Administration of Volunteer Programs

Prerequisite(s): Completion of General Studies Written Communication

Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): HSP 2010

Description: Students in this course examine the history, growing trends, and future of the volunteer sector. The changing patterns of volunteering, including the retirement of Baby Boomers and the increase of Millennials in the workforce, will be addressed. Students will be provided with a basic understanding of the characteristics, responsibilities, and obligations in the design and support functions of a volunteer program.
