MUS 4370 - Teaching Vocal Music

Prerequisite(s): MUS 2340

Corequisite(s): MUS 4371

Description: Students will develop competencies for teaching vocal music and guitar at the elementary and secondary school levels. Course content will include experience with traditional vocal teaching methodologies and guitar in music teaching. Additional instruction will include classroom management, assessment strategies, and the role of vocal and guitar music in education.
