Description: The course provides students with foundational knowledge, values, and skills for generalist practice with diverse clients and systems. Students will be introduced to a wide range of skills at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels with a focus on ethics and values, professional relationships, interviewing, and assessment. Students will gain foundational knowledge of the Generalist Intervention Model and the planned change process from engagement through assessment.
