Description: Students in this course investigate the methodology and practices of design research in order to produce meaningful communication design solutions appropriate for specific audiences, cultures, and contexts. Students harness actionable insights and validate their learning through iteration and testing of ideas. Teamwork is prioritized putting theory into action to inform students’ collaborative design practice thereafter. This course is restricted to Communication Design majors who have passed the BFA in Communication Design portfolio review.
