SED 4100 - Including Students with Significant Support Needs

Description: Instruction, assessment, and progress monitoring for students with significant support needs will be examined and practiced in this course.  Preservice teachers will create opportunities for students with diverse needs to be meaningfully engaged and included in general education classrooms. Students in this course will focus on creating consistent and continual progress for learners by building on individual strengths and abilities. This course must be taken concurrently with the field experience course SED 4101 - Teaching Students with Significant Support Needs .
