Students practice fundamental drawing skills by employing a variety of black and white media and techniques Students in this course are introduced to drawing as the common denominator for all art-making media. Students practice fundamental drawing skills, employing a variety of drawing media and techniques through art elements and design principles. Coursework emphasizes critical thinking and creative problem solving through technical and conceptual exploration, visual or thematic research, and visual or perceptual invention. No previous art skills are needed for this course.
