EVE 3000 - Concepts in Environmental Engineering

Prerequisite(s): CHE 1800, CHE 1801, MTH 2410, ENV 1200

Description: The course (EVE 3000) aims to cover all aspects of pollution in the environmental media, assessing, controlling, eliminating, and remediating factors that contribute to air, water, and soil pollution. Introduction to environmental chemistry, environmental fate and transport processes, solid and hazardous waste management, and risk assessment are also covered. In addition, new cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary nanotechnology is introduced along with discussion on its fundamental concepts and environmental applications, providing solving skills for engineering problems.
