MLAB 410 - Mycology

Prerequisites:
Admission to the program, MLAB 406

Lecture sessions cover the medically important fungi including yeast, dermatophytes, opportunistic and dimorphic fungi. Emphasis is on morphologic identification, both macroscopically and microscopically, of pathogenic organisms as well as the saprophytes encountered in clinical specimens. (Lecture - Fall Semester)
