Upon successful completion of the minor in art history, theory and criticism, students will be prepared to:
Recognize major achievements in the history of art, including the works and intentions of leading artists in the past and present, and demonstrate the way art reflects cultural values.
Compare and contrast developments in the history of art across periods and cultures.
A grade of C or better is required in each required course before progressing to subsequent courses. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required. A minimum of nine upper division art history hours is required.
