The American Chemical Society certified degree program offers students exposure to each of the major sub-disciplines of chemistry: analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, and biochemical. Electives

An additional 6 semester hours of upper-division, chemistry electives are required and should be selected in consultation with the Department of Chemistry. The senior experience in Chemistry (CHE 4950) does not count as an elective. Students may take any senior experience approved by the University.
