Water Studies Certificate

The western United States is a region with a long history of water challenges. In the American West, over 40 million people depend on the Colorado River. At the same time, the effects of climate change are adding to the challenges. This certificate is for individuals already working in the water field or with an interest in learning more about water. Students will learn about water history, law, management, and water trends with a focus on, but not limited to, Colorado and the American West.

Students can choose to take one course or complete all three to earn the Water Studies Certificate.
