Aviation Technology Minor

Program Requirements

• This minor is a total of 19 credits.
• A cumulative 2.0 GPA is required for this program.
• A student must possess at least an FAA Private Pilot Certificate before graduation. Documentation of this certification must be provided by the student to the AVS Department. 

Required Courses: 10 credits

• AES 1100 - Private Pilot Ground Credits: 4
• AES 1400 - Aviation Weather Credits: 3
• AES 1710 - Instrument Flight Simulation I Credits: 3

Elective Courses: 9 credits

Students must select 9 credits of AES Approved Electives; 3 credits must be upper division.
