About the Program
The minor in Psychology is designed to help prepare students who are pursuing a career that involves working with people and/or understanding people’s thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Students will gain a foundation in the science of behavior and mental processes and the application of psychological principles to real-world problems.

Program Requirements
- This minor is a total of 23 credits.
- At least 3 courses (9 credit hours) in the minor must be upper division, and 6 of those hours must be taken at MSU Denver.
- A grade of “D-” or better is required for each course in this program to count toward the minor. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required.
- Psychology minors must have an overall GPA of 2.00 to graduate.
Required Courses: 3 credits
Content Area Courses: 6 credits
