Program Requirements

This certificate is a total of 15 credits.
A minimum passing grade of “C” is required for all courses within the certificate.

Required Courses: 12 credits

All courses within the Cannabis Hospitality Manager Certificate Core are required. A minimum passing grade of C is required in each course.

HLDR 1200 - Cannabis 101 for Hospitality Credits: 3
HLDR 2140 - Cannabis in the Global Economy Credits: 3
HLDR 3420 - Laws and Regulation in the Cannabis Industry Credits: 3
RST 2420 - Cannabis in the Kitchen Credits: 3

Electives: 3 credits

Choose one of the following Hospitality Leadership courses:

HLDR 2100 - Event Planning for the Professional Credits: 3
HLDR 3200 - Talent Leadership Credits: 3
HLDR 3250 - Managerial Accounting for Hospitality Credits: 3
HLDR 3300 - Hospitality Marketing and Sales Credits: 3
One of the optional Hospitality Leadership courses may be substituted to align with student career interest upon approval of the Department Chair.
