SUR 4120 - Review of State Law

Prerequisite: Senior standing and Permission of instructor

This course is an introduction and discussion of the state laws in Colorado and the neighboring states pertaining to the practice of surveying. The topics include the right-of-entry, subdivision regulations, filing/recording corner records, records of survey and affidavits, professional conduct, authority of the state board of registration, and interaction with various state regulatory agencies.
