MUS 4360 - Teaching Instrumental Music

Prerequisite(s): MUS 2340 and formal admission into the music education program

Corequisite(s): MUS 4361

Description: Students will develop competencies for teaching instrumental music and technology at the elementary and secondary school levels. Course content will include experience with traditional instrumental teaching methodologies and application of technology to music teaching. Additional instruction will include classroom management, assessment strategies, and the role of instrumental music in education.
