MLAB 415 - Coagulation Prerequisites: Admission to the program, MLAB 400
This course is an in-depth study of the hemostatic mechanism, including study of coagulation in the intrinsic and extrinsic systems, as well as platelet and vessel function, and hypercoagulability. Analytical methodologies for the detection of abnormalities are studied for all systems. Laboratory sessions provide application of the principles of analytic testing methods used in the clinical laboratory. (Lecture - Fall Semester)
