Eating Disorders Minor

The eating disorders minor is designed to complement a major chosen by a student and/or for individuals who wish to establish self-improvement programs by gaining a basic understanding of eating disorders diagnosis and treatment. A minimum of 22 semester hours is required to complete the minor.A letter grade of at least a “C” must be attained in each of the courses in the eating disorders minor.
The eating disorders minor will provide additional education to the student interested in gaining an entrylevel position in health care. An advanced degree, additional training, supervision, clinical experience, and examination are required to qualify for certification as a specialist in eating disorders treatment through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals.
Student Academic Plan must be approved by advisor.
