Entrepreneurship Minor

A cross-disciplinary entrepreneurship minor is appropriate for students interested in someday launching their own commercial or non-profit enterprise in any major field of study.

Required Courses

CFI 1910 - Creative Problem Solving *
CFI 2910 - New Venture Feasibility
CFI 3910 - New Venture Creation I
CFI 3920 - New Venture Creation II
CFI 3980 - Internship in Entrepreneurship
Approved Elective(s): 3 credit hours

Total: 18 hours

In addition to the core courses, 3 hours of electives acceptable to or taught through the Center for Innovation are required. Electives must be approved by Center for Innovation prior to the student enrolling in them. An approved internship is also required. Students must complete each course in the minor program with a grade of “C” or better.
