Criminalistics Concentration
|
|
The Criminalistics Concentration is split into two tracks, A and B. Both Tracks impart a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with a Concentration in Criminalistics. Track A requires one semester of Physical Chemistry and two internships in Criminalistics. Track B requires one internship and a full year of Physical Chemistry (along with the required Calculus courses), which allows the student to earn the certification of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Please see a Department Advisor to discuss the ACS certificate requirements. The Senior Experience course for this concentration is CHE 4 710. A grade of “C” or better is required for each course in this program to count toward the bachelor’s degree. Students should note that programs differ in the minimum grade required. The requirement of a minor is waived for students in this program but all students must meet the University’s General Studies requirements in order to graduate. See below for a list of courses required to complete this concentration.
