A B.S. in Brew Pub Operations prepares students for work in a brewery setting that also has a food service component. Students learn about the brewing process, how to be product smart and have the managerial and technical skill to deliver and serve quality food products in tandem with beer. Curriculum is informed by industry standards set out by the IBD, Cicerone, Serv-Safe Food and Serv-Safe Alcohol Exam. This is an interdisciplinary major drawing from courses in science, restaurant management, and food production courses.
