The economics minor provides students with an opportunity to acquire a general knowledge of the operation of economic systems and institutions, as well as the quantitative tools necessary for analytical research and thought. At least nine credit hours of economics courses in the minor must be completed in residency at Metro State. Business majors who choose the Economics Minor will have ECO 2010 and ECO 2020 waived from School of Business and Departmental requirements.
