End User Support Specialist Certificate

This certificate will prepare a student for an entry-level position as a help desk/support
center specialist. It will also prepare an end-user to become the departmental hardware/software expert.

Students must complete each course in the certificate program with a grade of “C” or better. The courses cannot be taken pass/fail.

CIS 3030 - Business Web Page Development
CIS 3220 - Analysis of Hardware, Software, and User Interfaces for Microcomputer Platforms
CIS 3270 - Advanced Computer Applications for Business
CIS 3290 - Operating Systems for End Users
and
CIS 3230 - Telecommunication Systems and Networking
or
An approved 3 credit Help-Desk Internship (CIS 3980)
