Welcome to the Metropolitan State University of Denver Undergraduate Catalog!
The Metropolitan State University of Denver catalog is the official documentation of the university’s programs, courses, requirements, and academic policies. You can navigate through the catalog by clicking on the links below or by utilizing the navigation menu on the left.
Catalog Statement of Purpose and Authority
The university catalog is provided each academic year, beginning in the fall semester and continuing through the spring and summer semesters, as the authoritative source for all curriculum and academic policy information at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. In cases of uncertainty, the catalog supersedes any other information provided by the university or its representatives and serves as a comprehensive guide to programs, courses, policies, and procedures for the entire university community. However, policies published in the University Policy Library constitute the institution’s official governing policies and are not superseded by the catalog.
Because programs and policies can change, the university may update or correct the catalog at any time. Unless a change has a specific effective date, it goes into effect right away. Students are responsible for understanding and following the policies, requirements, and standards outlined in the catalog. Students should seek clarity from their advisor or university offices if uncertainty exists.
*All career and salary data is provided for informational use only. MSU Denver cannot guarantee any salary or career data and provide it as a good faith estimate. Completion of a program with pathways data does not guarantee a specific career or salary.
General university information is available at the MSU Denver Website.
General university policies including those on university operations and governance are available through the MSU Denver Policy Library.
