HPS 4890 - Internship for Sport Industry Operations

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing, completion of General Studies requirements, completion of a minimum 36 credits within the concentration, 2.80 GPA in the concentration.

Corequisite(s): HPS 4891

Description: The Sport Industry internship is a culminating 9 credit/405 hour applied experience with a sport organization or agency. The course is planned with, and supervised by, faculty and site supervisors. The goal of the internship is to provide the student with the opportunity to utilize knowledge and skills developed throughout the Sport Industry curriculum in a non-classroom setting.
