PHI 3370 - Computers, Ethics, and Society

Prerequisite(s): Any PHI or RLG lower division course; or Written Communication CO1, CO2, or CO3 course; or any other Arts and Humanities General Studies course
Description: Does technology make society better? Students examine the good and bad things that result from the intersection of computers and society. They analyze how computer-based technologies might threaten societal values such as safety, knowledge, privacy, and freedom. Students learn how to apply ethical concepts to modern questions about how to best utilize technology.
