SPA 2120 - Spanish Reading and Communication

Prerequisite(s): SPA 1020 or equivalent, or permission of instructor

Description: In this intermediate course students widen and strengthen their reading comprehension and active communication skills while deepening their understanding of cultural contexts. Learners engage with a variety of authentic texts-including short stories, essays, news articles, and digital media-from across the Spanish-speaking world. Through close reading, discussion, and analytical writing, students build advanced vocabulary, refine grammatical accuracy, and develop strategies for effective communication.
