CHE 1801 - General Chemistry I Laboratory

Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): CHE 1800. If used as a Prerequisite, CHE 1800 must be completed with minimum grade of C- or better.

Description: Students in this course learn basic laboratory techniques and reinforce and explore the concepts introduced in CHE 1800 - General Chemistry I . Students are introduced to chemical literacy, including report writing. Students learn methods and technologies appropriate to a chemical or physical determination, including graphical, statistical, and symbolic methods to organize and interpret data, and understand the role of repeatability in the acquisition of scientific data.

Note: Completion of both CHE 1800 and CHE 1801 is required to receive guaranteed transfer GT-SC1.
