About the Program
The Early Childhood Education Minor is designed for individuals interested in developing a foundational knowledge of the care and education of young children. Candidates should understand that this 18-semester-hour program of study fulfills MSU Denver’s requirements for a minor, but it does not lead to licensure in early childhood education.

Program Requirements
- This minor is a total of 18 credits.
- A grade of “C-” or better is required for each course in this program to count toward the minor.
Required Courses: 6 credits
The following courses are required for the Early Childhood Education Minor: Elective Courses: 12 credits
