General Certificate Requirements

Certificate requirements for the university can be found on the page below. All students seeking a certificate at the undergraduate level must follow these requirements in addition to the specifc requirements related to the certificate declared.

Program Requirements

• Students must complete each course in the certificate program with a grade of “C” or better.
• The courses cannot be taken pass/fail.
• Successful completion of these courses also meets the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Board of Standards education requirement to take the national Certified Financial Planner examination. For prerequisites and more information call the Finance Department, 303-615-0707.

• FIN 4400 - Estate Planning Credits: 3
