About the Program

The minor in Animation and Illustration focuses on creative exploration, critical thinking, and visual storytelling. Students apply research in experimental projects while gaining a solid foundation in 2D and 3D animation art and digital illustration. These skills are relevant across a wide range of fields, including digital art, graphic design, marketing, business, and the humanities. A grade of “C-” or better is required in each required course before progressing to subsequent courses.
