SLHS 3980 - SLHS Internship/Observation

Prerequisite(s): Department Permission

Description: Students participate in experiences related to the Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences (SLHS) discipline. Students may observe professionals and/or engage in supervised clinical activities consistent with their skill level. All experiences are coordinated by an assigned mentor within the SLHS department. Contact the department for more information.

Internship requirements vary by department. For information and instructions on finding and enrolling in an internship, contact the Classroom to Career (C2) Hub at c2hub@msudenver.edu.

Note: This course is offered for variable credits. Four credits are required to complete a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant internship and co-enrollment of SLHS 4300 .

Credits may also be applied towards guided observation hours and/or internships through our on campus clinic or with community partners.

This course can be taken three times for a total of 6 credit hours.
