CHS 3410 - Chicano Folklore of the Southwest

Prerequisite(s): CHS 2000 or Permission of instructor

This course accents the study of oral and written folklore as a genre in Chicano history and culture. Its focus is upon tales, traditions, belief, and humor as a means to gain insight into what is culturally specific. Credit will be granted for only one prefix: CHS or ENG.
