ENG 3011 - Analyzing English

Prerequisite(s): ENG 1020 or permission of instructor

This course is a practical approach to English language structure (i.e. phonology, morphology, and syntax), particularly useful to prospective teachers of English.  The purpose of the course is to create a stronger understanding of the linguistic diversity in today’s society. The course requires students to describe and explain linguistic structures.
