This certificate will prepare a student for an entry-level position as a help desk/support
center specialist. It will also prepare an end-user to become the departmental hardware/software expert.
Students must complete each course in the certificate program with a grade of "C" or better. The courses cannot be taken pass/fail.
An approved 3 credit Help-Desk Internship (CIS 3980)
*This certificate has prerequisite courses of CIS 2010, CIS 2110 which may be waived with appropriate work experience or course work.
